Superb, realistic game

What makes a shooter realistic? It all depends on how players go about killing each other. In Counter Strike, the combat is arguably realistic, because the maneuvers and weapons used in buildings and urban areas are used by police and SWAT teams in real life. The action found in EA Games' Bad Company, the latest battlefield title, is similar to real warfare, even though the prone position has been eliminated, because THERE ARE SO MANY HILLS AND DITCHES in the outdoor levels. Battlefield 2 had hills also, but not nearly as realistic or cool. Here's why I care. Yesterday, I was overlooking a 3-vehicle convoy on an intense multiplayer bad company match from a hilltop. On xbox live. As the tank, apc and hummer came around the corner, I stood from the crouching position. 8 other of my teammates followed. We killed all of the American soldiers in the convoy. It was AWESOME, not to mention that the weapons, graphics, and art (creativity in the game, because anyone can have good graphics and still be lame ) were amazing. Better yet, BF:BC has an unheard of physics engine that allows players and vehicles to cut fences, blow up houses, and shoot through cover. Natural hills and ditches, like in real life, are the only places to hide. I love how crazy this game makes you feel. When going into a hotzone full of enemies, do you want to get in the tank or not? 2 or 3 rockets could destroy the tank, or maybe there are mines on the ground, But if you DONT get into the tank, a sniper could kill you. You're about to go into the tank when BOOM another tank next to it explodes. HOLY SH!T. What now? You have to think and strategize while bombs are going off everywhere, and unlike almost every single other video game that I've ever played, I really cared about when I died. This game is not like WoW where you have to go thru this whole ordeal to come back to life. You respawn in about 4 seconds, on average. That's faster than Halo. Bad Company really got my heart racing. Rent it if you're still not sure.
